With its roots tracing
back to 1989, Alliance is an established leasing and asset-based financing
solutions provider with a proven, effective model for delivering its financing
products and services to Canadian and US business customers. The majority of
Alliance’s transaction flow comes from customized “vendor programs” with
national, regional or local equipment and machinery vendors.
Alliance’s vendor programs,
technology and go-to-market strategy have been vetted and validated by several
well known Canadian equipment/distribution companies including Ingram Micro
Canada*, FEDEX Canada, IBM Canada, Gateway Canada, Acklands-Grainger Inc.,
ACCPAC Canada and many others. This has led to an increase in Alliance’s
competitiveness and brand awareness in the business marketplace - resulting in
a strong brand identity within the vendor community. The sales cycle for
establishing additional vendor programs is now decreasing as Alliance can
leverage its experience, its technologies and its reputation for creating
successful customized vendor programs.
Alliance is a public company
(TSX Venture: symbol AFG), with its head office in located in Vaughan Ontario,
sales offices in Mississauga Ontario, London Ontario and Halifax Nova Scotia
and a sales/technology office in St. Catharines Ontario. Alliance currently has
17 employees and associates.
Our industry is currently
positioned for tremendous growth in North America. A
great majority of businesses (as high as 80% according to the United States
Equipment Leasing Association “ELA”) currently use lease financing as an
alternative to the restrictive financing solutions offered through conventional
channels.
According to the
ELA, “More companies, particularly small companies, acquire new productive
equipment through leases than through loans. Of the $697 billion spent by
business on productive assets in 2001, $216 billion, or 31 percent, was
acquired by American businesses through leasing. In 2002, that figure is
estimated at $204 billion. The projected 2003 volume is $208 billion”.
That number continues to increase as businesses become more aware of the
benefits of leasing.
Our services complement traditional bank based lending by providing an
additional form of credit. Our clients include Canadian and U.S. businesses of
all types – established, younger and even start-ups; helping them finance the
assets they need to operate their businesses profitably. We also offer lease
financing to school boards, universities, colleges, hospitals and all levels of
government.
At Alliance Financing Group, we partner with a
national network of Independent Associates to promote our products and
services. By offering a comprehensive management and sales training program,
together with full back office support, we can ensure the quality and
professionalism of our partners in the field. We want to be part of the
