Alliance Financing Group Announces A Marketing
Arrangement with Sun Life Financial Trust

Toronto, September 20, 2001

Alliance Financing Group Inc. (CDNX:YFG), providers of financing solutions for small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) announced today the signing of reciprocal marketing agreements with Sun Life Financial Trust Inc. a member of the Sun Life Financial group of companies, that will allow both organizations to market each other's products.

Under these arrangements, Alliance Financing Group will offer Sun Life Financial Trust's personal lines of credit, as well as high interest personal savings accounts, primarily to business owners, while Sun Life Financial Trust will introduce selected Alliance Financing Group products to their distribution partners to meet the financing needs of their business customers.

Alliance Financing Group's core strategy is the provision of a basket of essential financing and financial products to its SME customers, through five distinct distribution channels: equipment/machinery vendors, Internet Verticals, Internet Portals, Independent Sales Organizations, and finally, direct to the end-user.
