Alliance
Financing Expands Its Global e-Finance
Offering Through Strategic Partnership
with GSNet
TORONTO,
Ontario - Canada, September 29, 2000
- Bernard Shimkovitz, CEO of Alliance
Financing Group Inc. (AFG), an established
provider of e-financing for small and
medium sized businesses, announced today
a strategic partnership with Global Sourcing
Network Inc. (GSNet), with AFG providing
financing for buyers of heavy equipment
and machinery from GSNet's member dealers.
GSNet,
a Trader.com company, attracts approximately
100,000 people per month to gsnet.com
to search its online inventory of heavy
equipment and trucks and has facilitated
sales in excess of US$500 million since
the company's inception in 1995.
"GSNet
has an impressive reach," says Mr. Shimkovitz.
"This agreement allows us to target a
larger section of the business-to-business
market, and to be first to mind when potential
clients consider their financing and leasing
options."
GSNet's
customers will have the opportunity to
access AFG's proprietary financing products
and services from within GSNet's website,
as part of AFG's private-label leasing
and financing program. When customers
use the financing page of GSNet's website,
they will be linked seamlessly to AFG's
secure webserver.
Users
will be able to obtain real-time online
quotes, submit secure credit applications,
and obtain credit approvals. AFG then
facilitates all aspects of the financing
transaction from beginning to end, and
keeps GSNet informed of the application
status.
Gregg
Oldring, General Manager of GSNet, commented,
"Our goal in establishing this relationship
with AFG is to add to our existing array
of e-commerce resources already available
to GSNet sellers and buyers. GSNet's buyers
will now have the additional option to
apply for financing without ever leaving
our website. This brings a new immediacy
to the purchase and lease process, making
our service offering significantly stronger."
The
President of Trader.com North America,
Carole Salomon, went on to say, "The Partnership
with Alliance complements our numerous
heavy equipment publications very well
by delivering the services our print readership
enjoy to our online communities."
